  • Senior Director for Advancement

    Carle Illinois College of Medicine

    The Carle Illinois College of Medicine and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement (OVCIA) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seek a full-time Senior Director for Advancement to serve as its Chief Advancement Officer. The Senior Director will build and provide the strategic leadership of a comprehensive advancement program for the College. In partnership, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Illinois) and Carle Health System have embarked on a truly unique and exciting endeavor by creating the nation's first college of medicine specifically designed at the intersection of engineering and medicine (medicine.illinois.edu). The formation of this new privately-funded college at Illinois in partnership with Carle is a pivotal event in the university's history and will have a profound effect on the campus, the local and regional community, the state of Illinois, and the nation at large.

  • Director/Senior Director of Advancement

    Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, College of Engineering

    The College of Engineering Office of Advancement invites applications and nominations for a full-time Director/Senior Director to provide advancement functions for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE ILLINOIS). The Director/Senior Director of Advancement for ECE plays a critical role in efforts to deepen relationships with alumni and donors in the department.

    The successful candidate will be a major gift officer for ECE ILLINOIS, and will be a member of the ECE Department and College of Engineering's advancement teams. He/she will be responsible for fundraising activities and implementation of the department's strategic plans to increase private giving to the department. Most of the efforts of the Director/Senior Director will be devoted to identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major gift prospects and donors. The Director/Senior Director will manage a portfolio of 100 or more major gift prospects and be expected to close six-figure and seven-figure gifts on a regular basis. The position reports jointly to the Associate Dean for Advancement for the College of Engineering and to the ECE Department Head.

  • Assistant Director/Associate Director/Director of Advancement

    College of Engineering

    The College of Engineering Office of Advancement invites applications and nominations for two full-time major gift officers. One Assistant Director/Associate Director/Director will secure private support for the Departments of Materials Science and Engineering (MatSE), Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering (NPRE) and Physics. The second Assistant Director/Associate Director/Director will secure private support for departments and funding priorities within the College as determined by the Associate Dean for Advancement and the Dean. Both major gift officers will play a critical role in efforts to deepen relationships with alumni and donors in the departments.

Established in 1897, the College of Law has 11,000 alumni throughout the world who hold prestigious positions in law, business, government and the academy.
